While Moorhead Public Service is preparing to repaint its Oakport water tower simply with “Moorhead” on a blue background, they have also authorized Moorhead’s Arts and Culture Commission to help explore artistic designs and identify private and grant funding to cover additional costs.
Artists with a connection to Moorhead are invited to submit original, artistic design ideas that encompass the theme of "Life in Moorhead." The contest is free to enter and open to anyone with a connection to Moorhead. Deadline for submission is 12 noon on Monday, April 10, 2017.
