Traffic Alert: MnDOT to Conduct Paving Work

Motorists on Hwy 75/8 St in south Moorhead will encounter lane closures and delays when resurfacing work begins Friday, September 15, weather permitting. The work is expected to take up to one week.

Traffic will be reduced to a single lane in each direction at times between Belsly Blvd/35 Ave and 40 Ave S.

Significant delays are possible during the morning and evening rush hours. Motorists may want to consider an alternate route during these times.

Once the resurfacing is complete, minor traffic impacts will continue as crews install a new traffic signal at 37 Ave and upgrade the signal at 40 Ave to include a flashing yellow arrow.

Motorists are urged to slow down and use extra caution while driving through work zones.
