Traffic Alert & Construction Update: SE Main|20 St|21 St Underpass Project
Ames Construction has started on road, sidewalk and tree removal operations.

Travel impacts as of August 1, 2018:
Lane Closure of 34 St S from 4 Av S to 12 Av S
- The northbound lanes of 34 St S have closed for repair of a section of damaged roadway and underground utilities
Lane Closure - Right lane heading northbound 21 St from railroad tracks at SE Main Av Intersection to 4 Av S
- Watermain relocation underway on the east side of 21 St, north of the railroad tracks
Road Closure at 22 St S and 4 Av S from 21 St to 22 St S
- Underground utility work underway
Construction Progress:
Ames Construction has started on removal operations along 4 Avenue and 22 Street including pavement, sidewalk, fence and tree removals. Watermain installation has begun on the new 20 foot waterline along the new Access Road.
Looking ahead:
Work will continue along 4 Avenue as will watermain operations along the Access Road before continuing north, crossing 4 Avenue and continue along 22 Street.
