On September 9th, 2018 at about 7:38pm, Officers were dispatched to Buffalo Wild Wings, located at 2201 2nd Ave. N, Moorhead, on a report of adult female inside the bar area making suicidal comments while armed with a handgun. The suspect was also advising it was in the staff's best interest to evacuate the building. The management attempted to evacuate all staff and customers prior to the officer’s arrival. The first officer on scene learned the suspect was still inside bar, armed with a gun and was "cornering" staff. Officers made entry and took the suspect into custody without incident. A facsimile firearm was recovered. The suspect taken into custody was identified as Jennifer Joan Thomas, age 47, of Fargo ND. She is being held at the Clay County Jail on the following charges:

4th Degree Assault of a police officer

This is an active investigation and additional charges are possible.
