2020 Pet Licenses Available

Post Date:11/27/2019 11:27 am

For your convenience, Moorhead Police Volunteers will be selling 2020 pet licenses on Saturdays from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Please be prepared to give the date of your pet’s last rabies vaccination. The dates and locations are as follows:
November 30: Cashwise
December 7:  Moorhead Center Mall
December 14: Muscatell Subaru
December 21: Runnings

Pursuant to Moorhead City Code Section 3-7-2, all dogs and cats over six months of age must be licensed annually by no later than February 15 of each year. Pet license fees are a minimal $5 and purchasing them now can save you money in the long run. Licensing your dog or cat is important and will help us locate you if your dog or cat is found. If you don’t license your animal and it is found, a no license fee of $50.00 will be charged.

Moorhead pet owners can also purchase their pet licenses online at www.moorheadpolice.com or in person at the Moorhead Police Department Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
