NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the City Council of Moorhead, Minnesota will meet in the Council Chambers of the City Hall at 5:45 p.m. on March 23, 2020 to consider Eng. Project. No. 20-A2-5, consisting of Mill & Overlay and Street Rehabilitation Street Improvements in the area of 20 Ave S from 14 St S to 20 St S and 18 and 19 St S from 18 Ave S to 20 Ave S. The estimated cost of the improvements is $801,116.
You are further notified that it is proposed to make these improvements pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 429.011 through 429.111, as amended. The area proposed to be assessed for the improvements includes all properties abutting the following streets:
20 Ave S from 14 to 20 St S;
18 and 19 St S from 18 to 20 Ave S
along with all properties between 16 Ave S and 22 Ave S and between 14 St S and 20 St S as follows:
Lots 1-8 in Blocks 1 & 2, Andersons Addition
Lots 1-8 in Blocks 1, 2 & 3, Andersons 2nd Addition
All of Meyers Bros 4th, 5th and 6th Additions
Lots 1-8 and 31-40, Block 1, Sun Valley Addition
Lots 1, 2, and 4-8, Block 2, Sun Valley Addition
All of Blocks 1 and 2, Sunrise Addition
Lots 1-12, Block 1, Village Estates Addition
Lots 1-7, Block 2, Village Estates Addition
Lots 1-9 and 11-13, Block 3, Village Estates Addition
Lots 8-16 and 18-25; Block 4, Village Estates Addition
A reasonable estimate of the impact of the assessment will be available at the hearing. Such persons as desire to be heard with reference to the proposed improvements will be heard at this meeting. Written or oral objections will be heard and considered at said hearing.
