Shooting in South Moorhead

On 6/23/20 at 9:30 pm, Moorhead Police were dispatched to the 3000 block of 18th Street South for a report of someone shooting a gun.  The shooter left the area on a motorcycle prior to officers arriving on scene.  Officers located empty bullet cartridges in the street as well a nearby vehicle that appears to have been shot at least twice.  Officers did not locate any victims and there was no evidence indicating anyone had been shot.  At this time, the motive or target(s) of the shooting are not known.  Detectives and Officers are continuing to investigate.  Anyone with information or knowledge of this incident are asked to contact the Moorhead Police Department and speak with the on-duty supervisor.
