Crime Free Multi-Housing Training for Landlords and Property Managers

Calling all landlords and property managers that have not completed this training.  Don't miss this opportunity to participate in this training from the comfort of your home.  The next Crime Free Multi-Housing training class will be held over the course of two Tuesday evenings, March 2 and 9 from 5-9 pm. This training will be held virtually and you must participate both evenings to receive your certificate of completion.  This training will not be offered again until October.  See the class agenda for topics covered. 

This training is open to all landlords and property managers of Moorhead rental property.  Participants will learn about spotting drug activity, crime prevention through environmental design, fair housing, applicant screening methods, evictions and legal issues facing landlords.  This training is free, but you must register online.  Contact Community Policing Coordinator Leann Wallin with any questions at 218.299.5143. 

Note to new landlords: Pursuant to Section 9-7-3G of the City of Moorhead Rental Registration Code, all new rental registration applicants shall submit proof that they have completed crime free multi-housing classroom training within ninety (90) days of registering a rental property.
