Hwy 10/Hwy 75 Safety & Operations Improvement Project

Starting Spring in Downtown Main Ave, 8 St, Center Ave & 11 St

A major transportation project led by the City of Moorhead, in conjunction with MnDOT, will affect traffic on 8 St, 11 St, Center Ave and Main Ave during the 2016 construction season.  The project is designed to improve traffic safety and operations in the downtown area, improve the pavement condition and enhance pedestrian facilities.

Project Highlights

  • Addition of turn lanes and modification of traffic signals at key intersections
  • Pavement resurfacing on specific segments of 8 St, 11 St, Center Ave and Main Ave
  • Sidewalk improvements along Main Ave, Center Ave, 8 St and 11 St
  • Watermain replacement at various locations

Once the 2016 construction season has started the Engineering Construction Projects Map will be updated, which provides information on construction projects, road closures and detours.
