Our City of Moorhead, Minnesota, operates under the "city
manager" form of government, with an elected City Council serving as
decision makers for the community. Their policies focus on long-range
goals such as community growth, land use development, capital
improvement plans, capital financing and strategic development. The City Manager, who reports directly to the Mayor and the City Council, is responsible for carrying out the established policies and oversees the daily operation of the City of Moorhead.
