Clean-Up Week is held the first full week in May of each year. Crews will collect such items as appliances (limit 2 per residence), furniture and household goods at the curb on your scheduled garbage collection day.
There is no additional fee for disposal of these materials during Clean-Up Week, however trash that is set out for curbside collection before Cleanup Week officially begins will be assessed fees for any trash in excess of allowed amounts. Until then, residents are reminded to place only regular garbage items out for curbside collection on regular garbage days to avoid being assessed special pick-up fees.
Crews will not collect televisions or computer monitors or building and demolition materials such as sheet rock, lumber, concrete, building materials, windows, doors, etc. Demolition and building materials must be brought to the Moorhead transfer station for disposal. There will be a charge for disposing building and demolition materials.
