Cleanup Week is an annual event held at the same time each year in Moorhead, Fargo, West Fargo, and Dilworth to help residents dispose of items not accepted during regular garbage collection. During Cleanup Week there is no additional charge for collection of large items and extra materials; however, if garbage is set out before Cleanup Week officially starts, homeowners will be assessed fees for any garbage in excess of allowed amounts.

Limit of 4 tires per household.
You may bring furniture, household goods, excess garbage, and other large items to the Moorhead Transfer Station from April 30 - May 19, during normal hours, free of charge (also applies to apartments). Proof of City of Moorhead residency will be required (i.e. driver's license). Fees will still apply to demolition and construction materials.
Cleanup Week crews will not collect
- Computer monitors
- Building and demolition materials, such as:
- Sheet rock
- Lumber (to include old fencing material)
