Maps

The City of Moorhead produces a variety of maps from it's Geographic Information System (GIS). These maps are updated on a regular basis.

Please feel free to use this location as a resource to access, view, and print these maps. The maps below are in Adobe PDF format, the latest free version of Adobe Reader is available here.

The City of Moorhead GIS also offers three Interactive GIS Mapping websites:

FEMA Revised Floodplain
This is an interactive GIS map displaying the revised FEMA 100 Year and 500 Year floodplains. City residents can search by property address to view and print a detailed map showing how the revised 100-year floodplain (SFHA) may affect their property and any structures on the property.

Flood Stage Information   This mapping site provides information on Red River flood stage levels that may affect properties and structures in the City of Moorhead and in Oakport.

These 1/2 foot river flood stages were derived from LiDAR data aquired in May of 2011. Transparent blue areas show river flooding, and the light red/orange areas reflect the protected areas that benefit from the City's flood mitigation projects completed since the spring of 2009.

Emergency protection measures, such as temporary clay levees, are also represented as protected areas in this interactive web map.
