Volunteerism: The Backbone of Our Community

Volunteers are "the backbone of our community." Moorhead offers a number of opportunities to volunteer your time and efforts to improve the quality of life for everyone.

Volunteering In Moorhead
Volunteer positions are developed as needs are identified by the Volunteer and Promotional Services Coordinator in discussions with various Departments. Explore the current offerings by choosing an interest from the drop-down menu.

Volunteer Interest Form
If you would like to participate in one of the Recreation, Landscaping, Office/Reception or Festival volunteer opportunities noted, please download the Volunteer Interest form (14.2KB pdf). Complete and return to the Moorhead Parks & Recreation office at 324 South 24th Street, Moorhead, MN 56560 (map) or fax to (218) 299-5212. Contact parks at (218) 299-5340 with any questions or concerns.
