Public Assistance Requested in Identifying Suspect of Assault
On Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at approximately 10:00 a.m., a male entered a massage business in the 100 block of 7 Street South. While in the business, the male displayed a knife. The employees inside the store were able to escape and were not physically harmed.
The suspect is described as a lighter-skinned male of unknown height with an average build. He was last seen wearing a blue long-sleeved button-up shirt, khaki cargo shorts, white socks, white Adidas brand tennis shoes, and a khaki baseball-style hat. He was also wearing a blue surgical-style mask and gloves. He may have been driving a gray SUV. It is unknown if this is an isolated incident; however, similar incidents have not been reported.
