On October 28, 2022 at 2:30 AM the Moorhead Police Department responded to the area of Interstate 94 and 20 Street for a rolling disturbance. A caller indicated his vehicle had possibly been shot at. Moorhead Police located the suspect vehicle and initiated a high risk traffic stop.
The occupants of the vehicle were detained without incident. Preliminary information indicated the disturbance originated at the Baymont Inn and Suites in the City of Fargo. Fargo Police were requested to search that area for any evidence and investigate any criminal activity that occurred within their jurisdiction.
The occupants of the vehicle were identified as 27 year old Abigail Ramirez of Dilworth and 41 year old Dustin Grinder of Moorhead. Ramirez was arrested on an open warrant and possession of narcotics. Grinder was arrested for possession of narcotics and a facsimile firearm. Both individuals are being held pending formal charges from the Clay County Attorneys Office.
The Moorhead Police Department has no other information to release at this time.
