On June 22, 2023, at 9:33 p.m., Moorhead Police officers were dispatched to a stabbing which occurred in the 400 block of Maple Lane. Officers arrived on scene and located one adult male victim with apparent sharp force injuries outside of his residence. The victim was transported by Sanford Ambulance to the hospital. The extent of his injuries is unknown.
Through the initial investigation, officers determined the incident to be domestic related. No suspects are in custody and police are not searching for any suspects. There is no danger to the public. This is an ongoing investigation, and no further information will be released at this time.
The Moorhead Police Department was assisted by the Minnesota State Patrol, Moorhead Fire Department and Sanford Ambulance.
