Traffic Alert: 8 St/Center Ave intersection to be closed starting August 21
Beginning Monday, August 21, 8 St between Main Ave and 1 Ave N will close for sanitary sewer work. This work is expected to last approximately 4 weeks, weather permitting.
Because the intersection of 8 St and Center Ave will be closed, several detours will be necessary:
- Westbound Center Ave traffic will be detoured to Main Ave via 11 St N
- Eastbound Center Ave traffic will be detoured to 1 Ave N via 7 St N
- Northbound 8 St traffic will be detoured via Main Ave
- Access to Napa Auto Parts will be from 1 Ave N; Billiards must be accessed from the west
Motorists should expect delays in the area and find alternate routes, if possible.
