Starting Monday, May 20, 4 Ave S, 5 Ave S and 6 St S construction projects will begin. This project will consist of pavement improvements to the roadway, curb and gutter replacement, sidewalk and ADA improvements, and water main replacement.
Phase 1 of the construction project is anticipated to commence work at 7:00 am on Monday, May 20. Per the contractor’s schedule, this phase of work is anticipated to last for approximately 4 weeks, dependent on weather and other coordination factors. Residents are allowed to park on surrounding streets. Please do not park directly adjacent to the excavation or removal areas or any signage in the area to help alleviate any congestion in the area during this phase of construction.
Construction hours will be between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm. Garbage and recycling collection will continue as normally scheduled during all phases of construction.
