Investigation Leads to Arrest and Seized Drugs
On Tuesday, July 2, 2024, members of the Moorhead Police Department and other assisting agencies conducted a traffic stop near Barnesville, MN, on Interstate 94. During the search of the vehicle and person, officers located approximately 1,000 M30 Fentanyl pills and 13 grams of cocaine with a street value of over $10,000. The drugs were to be delivered to the Fargo Moorhead area to sell them in our community.
Antonio Johnson, 33, of Rochester, MN, was transported to the Clay County Correctional Facility. A long-form complaint was filed requesting Felony Aggravated First-Degree Controlled Substance - Sale of Fentanyl, First-Degree Controlled Substance - Possession of Fentanyl, and Third-Degree Controlled Substance - Possession of Cocaine charges.
The assisting agencies included the Clay County Sheriff's Office, MN State Patrol, Fargo Police Department, Cass County, ND Drug Task Force, ND Bureau of Criminal Investigation, and the US Drug Enforcement Administration.
