Drug Investigation Leads to Felony Arrests

Based on an investigation that began in July of 2024, information was obtained that an organization had been actively transporting illegal drugs from the Minneapolis / St. Paul metro area to Moorhead, where they would distribute them. On Tuesday, October 22, investigators were able to stop the two males in a vehicle as they were approaching the Moorhead area. During the stop, methamphetamine and fentanyl were seized. Later, a search warrant was conducted in Moorhead, where additional quantities of methamphetamine, fentanyl, and hallucinogenic mushrooms were seized.

In total, (215) grams of methamphetamine, (28) grams of fentanyl powder, (342) M30 fentanyl pills, (4) grams of hallucinogenic mushrooms, a collection of rare coins, and approximately $1,450 of US Currency were seized. The street value is estimated at $20,000.

David White, 45, of St. Paul, MN, Martin White, 54, of St. Paul, MN, and Mark Watson, 57, of Moorhead, MN, were arrested on felony drug charges for possession and distribution. They were transported to the Clay County Correctional Facility.

The Clay County Sheriff's Office assisted the Moorhead Police Department. The investigation is active, and more arrests are expected.
