On June 22 2025, at approximately 11:02 PM, Moorhead Police Officers responded to the 700 block of 15 Street North for reports of multiple gunshots heard. Responding officers located the scene with multiple witnesses and spent cartridge casings.
Later, Moorhead Police Officers responded to a local hospital for a male with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. It is believed that the suspect and victim are known to each other. There is no known threat to the public.
The case remains active and there have been no arrests. The firearm used has not been recovered. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Red River Regional Dispatch Center and ask to speak to a Moorhead Supervisor.
The Moorhead Police Department was assisted by the Clay County Sheriff's Office and the Minnesota State Patrol during this incident.
