Moorhead’s Brick Sewer Re-Lining Project began Monday, May 15. Work on this project is expected to continue in phases through the summer.
- On Friday, June 16, Main Ave will reopen one lane in each direction between 8 St and 11 St.
For the week of June 19, these road closures and traffic detours will occur:
- Beginning Monday, June 19, the intersection of 12 St and 4 Ave N will close for the installation of a pump system for the sewer lining project on 4 Ave N. This closure will last until late July.
- Beginning Tuesday, June 20, 10 St between Main Ave and 2 Ave S will close to install sewer bypass equipment. Northbound 10 St will reopen once equipment installation is completed (estimated to take one day). Southbound 10 St will remain closed until the project is completed in late August.
- Later in the week, the intersection of 2 Ave S and 6 St will close to install additional necessary equipment. The work is expected to be completed during the day and east/west travel will be restored. North/south travel will be restricted until project completion in late August.
