New Year's Eve Shooting Ruled Accidental

The Sunday, December 31, 2023, shooting investigation has confirmed the victim shot himself while walking in public with a concealed handgun. The male suffered non-life-threatening injuries to his leg. Criminal charges will be requested for concealing a handgun without a permit and negligent discharge of a firearm within the city.
