Daytime Business Robbery in Moorhead

There is no public safety concern at this time. Police are still investigating the incident.

Post Date:04/15/2017 2:17 pm

At about 11:51 a.m., a black male wearing a disguise entered Brady's Service Center. The robber kept one hand in his jacket pocket like he had a weapon and grabbed the clerk’s hand and held it down on the counter. The robber demanded money from the till and fled after receiving an unknown amount of cash. The clerk and one customer were in the store at the time of the robbery. The robber fled north across 24 Avenue South and was last seen in the area of the apartment complexes on the north side of the 800 block of 24 Avenue South. Officers set up a perimeter and a Moorhead Police K9 team responded. The track was unsuccessful due to the large amount of pedestrian traffic in the area this time of the day.

The robber was wearing baggy black pants, a camouflage jacket, black tennis shoes with white trim, black gloves, a multi-colored stocking cap and a red scarf/bandana over his face. A photograph of the suspect will be posted to the Moorhead Police Department Facebook page.

Please contact the on-duty Moorhead Police Department Supervisor, at 701.451.7660, with any information about this Robbery.
