In compliance with CDC guidelines, and in the interest of safety of our residents and employees, we will not be opening our swimming and wading pools in 2020. There is no practical way to limit the number of participants in order to achieve appropriate social distance in and around the pools, maintain safety for swimmers and lifeguards, or provide a fun experience for swimmers with the recommended restrictions.
Beat the heat and stay cool at the pool! The City of Moorhead offers 6 neighborhood wading pools, as well as the Moorhead Municipal Pool. A variety of programs are available including swim lessons, water exercise, lap swim, and adaptive swim lessons. We also celebrate summer with two annual events at the Municipal Pool: Dive into Summer and Summer Splash.
